Ghana records Third Coronavirus Death at 37 Military Hospital
The third COVID-19 death has been recorded at the 37 Military Hospital after the wife of a retired Navy Admiral who fell victim to the virus.
Additionally, source says, the husband of the deceased is in critical condition after testing positive for coronavirus.
Sources again say the two do not have any travelling records for some time now. However, it is suspected that they might have contracted the virus from persons they might have into contact with in the country.
Currently, health authorities are tracing the person who delivered the parcel as well as other people who have been in contact with the two after they received the parcel.
Ghana now has a total of 68 confirmed active coronavirus cases, according to an update from the Ghana Health Service’s website dedicated to giving updates on COVID-19 related information.
As of today, Wednesday, March 25, 2020, 15 more cases have been confirmed since the last cases were announced less than 24 hours ago.
